Dr. Charmaine Gibson is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who is compassionate about women’s healthcare. She completed her undergraduate education at Prairie View A&M University with honors and she attended University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio medical school. She completed her residency at Reading Hospital in Reading, PA where she received academic awards as well as awards for her minimally invasive skills and expertise.  She is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Her clinical interests include, but are not limited to, adolescent care, menopause, minimally invasive surgery, patient education, vaginal reconstruction, and the overall 360 care of a woman. She is also invested in community outreach and serving Collin County and surrounding areas.   She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to supporting you in a healthy life

Cori Poovey is a certified Nurse Practitioner. She is passionate about Women's health and helping you reach your health goals.  She specializes in a wide range of women's health issues.  In addition to working at Parkland's Women's Clinic, she worked in emergency as an R.N. for 9 years. She has had extensive training to become a certified nurse practitioner and is qualified to evaluate patients and offer treatment. Her skills allow us to offer an additional option for treatment as well as seeing the physician.  She is well known for heading our Menopause Wellness Center where we offer bio-identical pellets.  She also specializes in facial and vaginal aesthetics. She is currently accepting new patients and is looking forward to supporting you in a healthy life.
